This month marks the clinic’s five-year anniversary since we opened! As much as we’d LOVE to share cake with everyone to celebrate, instead we’re taking a look back at important milestones from each year.

Year 1 (2017)

It’s hard to believe in the weeks before opening, Dr. Himmat Bajwa was worried whether patients would come through the doors. But with Shannon and Jaspreet at his side, the response was outstanding! Patients really appreciated a modern dental office environment focussed on comfort and care.

The above two photos are from our open house, back in the days when we didn’t have to wear PPE (personal protective equipment)!

Year 2 (2018)

This year we began community outreach in our local schools, with in-class education visits and establishing a high school scholarship at Sullivan Heights Secondary School, where many of our patients go (or have gone) to school. We were thrilled that we were realizing the clinic’s vision to provide the highest standard of dental care possible while being an integral member of our community with lifelong involvement and outreach.

And it marked the beginning of more active involvement in our fantastic Sullivan Heights community in many different ways!

Year 3 (2019)

The clinic was so busy that we needed to hire another dentist. Dr. Kam was with us briefly before moving to the US—and that opened the door for Dr. Naik (above)!

Other milestones this year: establishing a local Army Cadets scholarship, sponsorship of local youth Surrey sports teams like the Sullivan Heights Stars, and providing Invisalign teeth straightening.

Year 4 (2020)

We all know what happened this year—our office had to close for two months and we determined how to safely deliver dental services to our patients during the pandemic.

Despite this, our office doubled in staff size . . . from four to eight!

Year 5 (2021)

In 2021 we worked hard to expand our hours to meet patients’ needs, so we added a third wonderful dentist to do this, Dr. Pirbhai.

We also hired two CDAs and a hygienist who we’ll officially introduce very soon on our website and in social media.

As always, a HUGE thank you to our wonderful patients who have helped us get this far! We really appreciate your support, and look forward to see how 2022 will unfold.
