Optimizing Dental Care

We embrace new technologies – but only if they are proven to contribute to a more effective and efficient patient experience.

Our dental clinic uses the following latest enhancements in dental treatment:

  1. Digital X-Rays – Offer many benefits, including: less exposure to radiation, more comfortable procedure, immediate film processing, ability to enhance images to improve hard-to-see dental issues, online review with your dentist online; and easy transmission for referrals.
  2. Intraoral Digital Camera – Digital photography inside the mouth produces high-quality images of your ‘oral landscape’ to be easily reviewed with your dentist. Images can be shared with specialists and insurance companies, if needed.
  3. Computer monitors – Placed in each room for patient education, monitors make it easier to review your photos and case with Dr. Bajwa.
  4. VELscope Oral Assessment cancer detection – Provides quick and painless oral cancer screening to help your dentist identify abnormal tissue in the mouth. Learn more.
  5. Soft Tissue Laser – Provides a less invasive, more comfortable and quicker method of tissue removal without bleeding. E.g. quick canker sore removal or cosmetic altering of gums.
  6. Digital patient charts – Allow us to efficiently share information with specialists, laboratories and insurance companies, if requested. All data is password secured and your personal information is kept safe.
  7. Mercury-free dental clinic – Protects our health by choosing not to use mercury in fillings and crowns.
  8. Entertainment – Multitask or just relax during your time at the dentist with iPads, Netflix, music and headphones.

If you have any questions about the technology that we utilize at our Surrey dental clinic, please ask any one of our team members, or contact us.
