Surrey general dentist, Dr. Himmat Bajwa, and the Sullivan Heights team are focussed on family dentistry. This includes general, preventative, cosmetic, and implant dental work for all ages. We also have certifications in sedation for dental treatments.

Meet Our Team

Jaspreet

Registered Dental Hygienist

Jaspreet has been registered as a dental hygienist since graduating from the Dental Hygiene Degree Program at UBC in 2016.  She believes in providing client-centered care and ensuring each client’s individualized needs are met. Over the last few years Jaspreet has had the opportunity of providing dental care to different populations such as low-socioeconomic families, refugees, immigrants, senior citizens and teens with developmental disabilities. Jaspreet spends her free time enjoying the company of her family and friends, or going to the gym.

Shannon

Certified Dental Assistant

With a love for going to the dentist from an early age, it only seemed fitting that Shannon would find herself working in a dental office. She graduated from the Certified Dental Assisting program at Vancouver Community College in 2013. Shannon enjoys meeting new people and spends time getting to know each of our patients. Outside of the dental clinic you can find Shannon baking in the kitchen, traveling the world, trying to tire her dog out on a long walk or reading a good book.

Kelsey

Dental Receptionist

Kelsey has worked in customer service for over 10 years and was inspired to work in the dental field by the positive experiences she's received as a patient in the past. She is a recent graduate of the Dental Reception Coordinator program at Vancouver Community College. In her free time, Kelsey likes to work on DIY projects, paint, play board games with friends, and hang out with her pets.

Krystyna

Certified Dental Assistant

Highly experienced in the field, Krystyna has been a CDA since 1996. With her smile and gentle nature she always helps our patients feel at ease. Outside of the clinic, Krystyna applies her talents working as an Education Assistant for the Surrey School District, supporting children with disabilities. Among her many interests are camping, kayaking, traveling, walks along the beach, and spending time with her two children and husband.

Briana

Certified Dental Assistant

Briana graduated from Certified Dental Assisting program at Vancouver Community College in 2021, receiving an award for outstanding achievement in preventive dental assisting. With an interest in dentistry since she was young, Briana knew that eventually she would establish a career in the field. She is excited to be able to start it with the team at Sullivan Heights Dental, who is passionate about healthy smiles. Outside of work, Briana enjoys teaching yoga, going for hikes, and spending time with her friends & family.

Erin

Registered Dental Hygienist

A graduate from Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene, Erin completed her Diploma in Dental Hygiene along with certification in local anesthetic. Erin has always been interested in dentistry since she was a young, and when she learned about dental hygiene as a career, she knew it was the perfect fit for her. In her time off Erin likes to play soccer, travel to new places, and spend time with her family and friends.

Taav

Registered Dental Hygienist

Taav graduated in dental hygiene in 2022 from Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxiliaries. She is also a graduate of the Certified Dental Assisting program at Vancouver Community College. Taav has always enjoyed going to the dentist as a child, so a career in dentistry just made sense! She loves seeing the joy her work can bring to her patients after a cleaning. In her spare time, you can find Taav hiking, playing with her nephews, going to spin class, or learning to bake.

Raman

Certified Dental Assistant

Raman has been a CDA since 2004. She has a surgical background with eight years experience assisting an Oral Surgeon with extractions and implant placements. Prior to this Raman had the opportunity to teach dental assistant students in the Dental Assisting Program at CDI. She is a calm and caring dental assistant who enjoys all aspects of her work in dental. In her spare time she enjoys working out, going for walks, and spending time with family and friends.

Iranjot

Certified Dental Assistant

Iranjot is a graduate from Vancouver Community College as of July 2023. After waiting six years to work in dentistry, she’s excited to be able to work hands-on in helping others feel better about their oral health and alleviating dental anxieties. She’s grateful for the caring and helpful team that she works with at Sullivan Heights Dental who teach her new things daily and have been a major reason for her growth. Outside of work, Iranjot spends time with friends and family, traveling, or playing with her dogs.

Goldie

Remote Office Manager

We hired Goldie purely based upon her gentle manner and extraordinary ability to make people smile. While her administrative skills are still in development, Goldie excels in team building, patient relations, and anxiety relief. After she graduates from training, Goldie will be at the office one day a week. Please feel free to ask for her if you have any feedback on office cleanliness or organization (or, if you’re uncomfortable with dogs, please let us know). When not working, Goldie loves to exercise outdoors and discover local parks.

Sandy

Dental Receptionist

Sandy found herself interested in dentistry after countless appointments to her orthodontist office as a kid! Since graduating from VCC’s Certified Dental Assisting program in 2015, she can be found at the front desk and helping out in the back. Outside of work, Sandy likes to spend time with her family and friends.
