Dr. Himmat Bajwa received his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and worked as a dentist in Connecticut from 2006-2011. He took his Canadian dental boards soon after, enabling him to practice here and be with his Canadian wife. Dr. Bajwa has been working as a general dentist in Surrey since 2012, fully committing to this growing community by opening Sullivan Heights Dental and establishing a family here.

Dr. Bajwa believes in clear and honest communication with his patients, so that you not only feel well informed about your oral health care, but also empowered and confident working with your dentist. His knowledgeable and caring approach, combined with his calm demeanor, makes it easy to express any concerns or uncertainty.

He will take the time to explain issues in as much (or as little) detail that you need to feel comfortable – and to ensure that your oral health needs are being addressed in the most optimal way.

Continuing education is a priority for Dr. Bajwa. He is very passionate about staying current, embracing advanced technology and providing the best dental care possible. Currently he is a Faculty Club member at Spear Education, one of the leading providers of dental continuing education. He has completed numerous courses over the past decade, as well as focussed professional certifications.

Memberships

Dr. Sebastian earned his dental degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in 2011 and began his career as a dentist in India. Driven by a passion for advanced dental care, he pursued a Master’s in Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics, which he completed in 2016. Dr. Sebastian then became a practicing consultant endodontist and shared his expertise as a faculty member, teaching both post-graduate and undergraduate students at renowned institutions in India.

In 2018, Dr. Sebastian moved to Canada and successfully completed the Canadian equivalency exams and dental boards. He has been practicing as a general dentist here since 2023. In addition, with his strong passion for teaching Dr. Sebastian joined the PrepDoctors Institute, where he trains internationally educated dentists in clinical skills to help them achieve their professional goals.

Dr. Sebastian takes pride in listening to his patients and addressing their concerns with care and sincerity. He is committed to preventing oral diseases and educating his patients about their oral health, offering tailored guidance to promote long-term wellness.

Outside of work, Dr. Sebastian enjoys spending quality time with his family. His favorite activities include biking, hiking, and swimming with his child.

Dr. Guru is a dedicated and compassionate associate dentist committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care. With a strong foundation in preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Guru is dedicated to assisting patients in achieving healthy, confident smiles.

Following achieving his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in India in 2016, Dr. Guru relocated to Canada. He subsequently earned a Master of Administrative Science in Global Health and Human Services in 2018. During the course of his studies, he gained valuable experience working in various dental offices across the Lower Mainland, contributing to his professional development. He successfully completed the National Dental Examination Board equivalency process and passed his board examination in 2025, subsequently commencing his career as a General Dentist in British Columbia.

Known for his amiable disposition and transparent communication, Dr. Guru places a strong emphasis on patient education and facilitates open and candid discussions regarding treatment protocols. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive care and is always willing to go the extra mile to address any patient concerns.

Proficient in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, Dr. Guru strives to create a comfortable and stress-free dental experience for all patients.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Guru engages in various recreational activities, including cycling, hiking, and swimming. He is passionate about community dental outreach programs and actively participates in initiatives to provide dental care to underserved populations.
